Background Fall 2014: campus climate assessment planning Spring 2015: survey administration Fall 2015: follow up retention data obtained from registrar’s office

Who was invited? All students who were identified in Banner as non-White (n = 4,813) All students on Access and Diversity listservs Random sample of 2000 students from general Banner database Lists checked for overlap so that students did not receive multiple invitations

Who Participated? Age: M = 25.12, range 18 – 61 Transfer student: 40.8% 78.8% UG; 22.2% graduate 16.8% non-traditional; 33% first generation college 30.5% speak language other than English at home 2.4% veteran 48.7% male; 50.8% female; 0.4% transgender or nonbinary 33.4% married; 20.2% parenting 8.6% LGBTQ 74% U.S. born 25.3% multiracial
