Advent starts with the beginning of December and lasts until the Christmas Eve. Its symbol is Advent wreath with four red candles (each for a Sunday) and one white, which is lit on Christmas Day. People start with Christmas preparations a few weeks before the holiday. They send cards, buy and wrap up the presents, tidy the house, buy a tree and prepare Christmas decorations.
