3 Christmas celebrated on the 25-th of December. On this day British people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

4 Traditions

5 The difference The UK English families have got Christmas dinner. They cook traditional Christmas food :a roast turkey and a Christmas pudding. Russia Russia people cook salads, fried chicken and much more.

6 Usually Father Christmas or Santa Claus to get into the house, climbs in through a pipe. And then put gifts in socks or under the Christmas tree. All children in the New Year write the letter a, Ded Moroz brings gifts and puts them under New Year trees.

7 Every Christmas British people are presented a big Christmas tree by Norway. They put it up in Trafalgar Square in London. Streets and houses are decorated garland. Every New Year Russia have got a big New Year tree. We put it up in Red Square in Moscow. Streets and houses are decorated garland, t insel.

8 The UK and Russia People put up a Christmas tree decorate it with toys, and sweets. Students have two- week Christmas holidays. Children write letters to Father Christmas and ask him for presents.

9 The UK Sending Christmas cards is another tradition.People send Christmas cards to their relatives and friends and wish them a Merry Christmas. Christmas is a family holiday and people try to celebrate it with their families.

10 Before Christmas English women made from gold foil, colorful ribbons, gold and silver thread and colored paper decorations for Christmas candles.
