Main Idea At the end of the 19 th century, natural resources, creative ideas, and growing markets fueled an industrial boom These developments paved the way for the continued growth of industry in the United States

In your groups: 1.Read the section 2.Identify important people/inventions/innovations 3.Explain how they led to the growth of industry. -What was the new technique? -What was it used for? -How did it make things easier? -Where there any negative aspects of the change? 4.Plan your poster.
