If you would like to get 100% on your next test … watch this show! ATTENTION!

Would you like to know the questions that are going to be on all of your tests?

Well, listen up and I’ll let you in on a secret.

Learn to think like your teacher! In college, teachers learn how to make up test questions … but we’re sworn to secrecy not to tell students… but if you promise not to tell where you heard it, I’ll let you in on the secret!

Q – question A – answer R - relationships Q.A.R.’s How is the QUESTION related to the ANSWER?

3 Types of Questions -Right there -Think and Search -In Your Head

Right There The answer for the question is “right there” in the book and you can easily put your finger on the answer

RIGHT THERE John walked to the store to buy eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice. Right there question: What did John buy at the store?

RIGHT THERE John walked to the store to buy eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice. Right there question: What did John buy at the store? Eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice.

The answer for the question is in the book, but not all in one place, so you need to look in several sentences or sections. Think & Search

John walked to the store to buy eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice. When he got home he realized he forgot jelly, so he went back to the store. Think & Search question: How many times did John go to the store? Think & Search

John walked to the store to buy eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice. When he got home he realized he forgot jelly, so he went back to the store. Think and Search: How many times did John go to the store? He went to the store 2 times Think & Search

In Your Head The answer for the question can not be found in the book … you have to have the information “in your head” … This is usually an essay type question where you combine all the information you have about a topic to answer the question

John walked to the store to buy eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice. In Your Head In Your Head question: What meal is John preparing?

John walked to the store to buy eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice. In Your Head In Your Head question: What meal is John preparing? I know that you use these ingredients to make breakfast, so he must be making breakfast.

Now…you have all of the secret information…take the challenge…let’s practice writing our own questions! Good Luck!
