Remember that density is the mass of one cubic centimetre (or cubic metre) of a substance. So for example, gold has a density of 19.3 g/cm 3. This means one cubic centimetre (cm 3 ) of gold has a mass of 19.3 grams (or one cubic metre of gold has a mass of kg) GB&v=14nahP_FVnM
