4 Spanish National Climate Change Adaptation Plan (PNACC) GENERAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE COORDINATION BETWEEN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS IN THE ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE ASSESSMENTS OF THE IMPACTS, VULNERABILITY AND ADAPTATION TO CLIMATE CHANGE IN SPAIN. OBJECTIVES:  Mainstreaming adaptation to climate change in the planning processes of the different socio-economic sectors and ecological systems  Knowledge hub: Establishing an iterative process of knowledge generation  Capacity building: Assisting all those administrations and organizations - public and private- to assess the impacts of climate change in their areas of ​​ interest, providing knowledge, tools and methods  Participatory approach: Promote participatory processes with policymakers to identify the best adaptation options  Fulfillment of the international commitments in our country related to adaptation to climate change

Axis of sectoral assessment of impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change General objective - continue ongoing assessments and open new lines of action to assess impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in sectors, systems, resources and territories Line of generation of regionalized climate change scenarios, as a basic and essential element for all sectoral assessments of impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change. Axis of normative integration of adaptation to climate change General objective- inclusion of adaptation to climate change in sectoral rules and regulations (national and regional level) taking into account EU policies. It also involves the development of technical guidelines, instructions, handbooks of good practices. WORK PROGRAMMES

Mobilization of key actors General Objective – Enhance Participation, Communication, Training and Awareness raising of key stakeholders in order to identify adaptation measures in sectors where both public and private actions are crucial. 13 Objectives of Adaptecca Platform for the exchange and consultation of information on Adaptation to Climate Change in Spain To offer a database of documents and information on adaptation to climate change. To become the reference point for the exchange of technical studies and information for the whole community. To provide working groups with tools for participation and networking. To allow users to consult specific information for each autonomous region and each sector and area.
