May 18,19, 20 Canyonview Camp Silverton, OR

 May 18 (depart school around 9:30)  Return May 20 around 2:00  Students may stay in class until the end of the day, or they can be picked up when we arrive  We cannot allow students to walk home early.

 Includes:  Bus ride  5 meals  Activities and supplies Fundraising options: (Mr. Kiser) *candle fundraiser from November (your child’s teacher has information on their earnings) *Chocolate bar sales (one box sells for $60, your child gets 50%) Sell 2 boxes and your trip is paid for!

 If your child takes medication and will need to during the duration of ODS, please make sure to do the following: a. Fill out a blue medication card from the office. b. Bring the original bottle to the office. We cannot accept pills in other baggies or containers. c. Make sure directions are completed with time and dosage. d. Make sure it is at school in the office 1 week prior to our trip.

 Some of the activities your child may get to participate in include:  Nature and Physical science  Team building and challenge course  Archery  Canoes  Outdoor cooking  Creek boats  Candle making  Crafts  Camp songs

All meals will be prepared by camp staff and has a food service director. Campers will have dinner on Wednesday, 3 meals on Thursday and breakfast on Friday. If your child has a severe allergy, please let your child’s teacher know ahead of time. Vegetarian options available for each meal

 Students will sleep in one of the 8-10 cabins at the camp  They will be supervised by camp staff  Cabins will be divided up by school staff

 Sleeping bag  Rain gear with hat  Warm jacket  2 changes of clothes  Sturdy shoes  Warm pajamas  Soap in container, towel, wash cloth, toothbrush and paste  Extra socks  Comb  Pillow, blanket, camera, money for the camp store (all optional)

 CELL phones  Radios  Books  Cards  Knives  Jewelry  Food or snacks  Toys  Electronics (ipod, mp3, video games)

 Permission slips will be coming home after spring break.  Your money will need to be turned in by May 5th.  If you have concerns about the trip, please contact us as soon as possible. The day of the trip is very busy.
