1. 6th Grade Camp!
What you need to know….

2. When is it? Camp is on Sept. 23-25
You will arrive to school on the 23rd between 8-8:30 WITH your camp gear. You will need to come in entrance #5. Put all of your camp gear in the gold gym under your homeroom teacher's name.
If you have meds, take them to the guidance office ASAP
You must bring your camp money on this day ONLY.
Report to homeroom and give your teacher your money.

3. Where is camp?
Camp is on the Leesville Lake (35 miles south of Canton).
You will be housed in dorms - one for girls, one for boys.

4. Rules to follow...
You must stay with your field group that you are assigned. This will be your “Family” while you are at camp. You will eat all meals with this group and do some activities with this group. The Camp leader of your field group is your “go to” person while you are at camp.
If you damage anything that belongs to the camp YOU will have to pay for it.
You may NOT bring any food with you
You may NOT bring electronics. Any electronics found will be taken and you will get them back when we return to camp.

5. Camp Store
There is a camp store where you can buy shirts/sweatpants/misc. things. The money that you give to your homeroom teacher on the day that we leave will be the money that you have to spend at the store. The money can not be used to buy anything aside from what is in the store.

11:15 - Move in 6:30 - Rec Break
12:30 - Lunch 7:30 - Class
2:00 - Field Group 9:00 - Snack
3:30 - Restroom 9:30 - Showers/Bed
3:45 - Class
5:15 - Restroom/hoppers

7. Schedules… Day 2 7:15 - Wake up 12:00 - Lunch 9:30 - Snack
7:45 - Hoppers 1:00 - Rec Break 9:45 - Shower/Bed
8:00 - Breakfast 2:00 - Underground RailRoad
9:00 - Clean up 5:15 - Restroom/Hoppers
9:30 - Games 5:30 - Dinner
10:15 - Field Group 6:30 - Rec Break
11:45 - Restrooms/Hoppers 7:30 - Campfire/Night Hike

8. Schedules... Day 3 7:00 - Wake up 11:45 - Departure
8:00 - Field Group Clean up
8:30 - Brunch
9:30 - Restrooms
9:40 - Field Group
11:10 - Final Closing
11:30 - Restrooms

9. What to Pack Bedding - pillow, sleeping bag/bedding for twin bed.
Clothing- Jeans/pants, Sweat shirts, T-shirts, Underwear, socks, shorts, jacket, hat, rain gear(not umbrella), Old comfortable shoes, PJ’s, bathrobe, laundry bag, rain boots, mittens
Personal Items- Towels, washcloth, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair brush, shampoo, deodorant!
Do NOT bring- Cell phones, food, hair dryers, bug repellent, games, electronics. There will be NO outlets to plug anything in!

10. Pick up
Parents/guardians will pick you up at Jackson North Park at 1pm. (across from high school)
Parents need to be there waiting for you!
If no one can pick you up at 1pm- you will ride the bus back to the school and wait in the main office until dismissal at 2:50.
