Umbrella Cockatoos By: Salma Khadir

Animal Facts Description Umbrella Cockatoos are white,and pale yellow. They can weigh about 20 oz. (565g) Umbrella Cockatoos have feathered skin on their bodies. They also can lift feathers from the back of their heads to the top their heads and look like they have a Mohawk. They are mammals. A pic showing your animal. Movement Umbrella Cockatoos fly and when they fly they flap their wings. Diet Umbrella Cockatoos are herbivores they eat berries, nuts,and fruit.

Habitat Umbrella Cockatoos live in Indonesia on Maluku Island. They live around farmlands and forests. They survive by having healthy air and eating berries,nuts,and fruits. Map showing where your animal lives Picture showing your animal in its habitat.

Life Cycle Female Umbrella Cockatoos lay 1 to 2 eggs. It takes 20 to30 days for the eggs to hatch. When Umbrella Cockatoos are born their skin is pink and there is a little feathers on their skin. It takes 11 weeks for a baby to be left alone in the wild. A picture of the animal as a baby or young. A picture of the animal as a grown/ mature animal. When they are fully grown they are white, with black eyes, and a beak. They can live up to 70 years. When they are in groups they are called Velcro birds.
