Animal Facts Description Hedgehogs are brown, white, and dark brown. They love to play and roll around. They weigh 18 to 25 ounces. Hedgehogs are even good house pets! Diet Hedgehogs are omnivores they eat fruit berries and even venomous snakes! Movement Hedgehogs move very slowly. They walk as fast as they can, which is very slowly to us. Life Cycle When a Hedgehog is born it is tiny. It has tiny white quills and pink skin. They can fit in the palm of your hand. Babies don’t open there eyes till there about two weeks old. Hedgehogs have live birth. Grownup hedgehogs are brown, white, and dark brown. 5 Animal interactions Hedgehogs roll into a ball it scares of predators because they want to mess with a spikey ball. They think it will hurt them. The quills are just sharp hair and they don’t hurt to much. A hedgehog rolls into a ball to protect its self. Birds like to eat hedgehogs they do that by swooping down and picking them up. Their common enemy is birds such as eagles and hawks.
