ACADEMIC ACCEPTANCE  Minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average  Class Rank and ACT Score  Top 25% with no minimum ACT score  26%-50% with 17 ACT  51%-75% with 20 ACT  76%-100% with 21 ACT **Writing on the ACT is not required at this time

ACADEMIC ACCEPTANCE: CONTINUED  English – 4 credits  Math – 4 credits  Science – 4 credits  Social Science – 3.5 credits  Economics – 0.5 credits  Physical Education – 1 credit  Fine Arts – 1 credit  Foreign Language – 2 credits  Speech – 0.5 credits  Electives – 6 credits Exception form can be submitted for out-of-state students to declare they still have met state graduation requirements.

HONORS PROGRAM  Incoming Freshman  26 or greater ACT composite  Community College Transfers  Cumulative transfer GPA of 3.5 or higher  Current WTAMU Student  Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on +15 hours of WTAMU course work

HONORS PROGRAM: CONTINUED  Includes more rigorous classes in addition to the typical required classes  In order to graduate as an Attebury Honors Scholar…  Maintain a cumulative 3.5 or higher GPA and a 3.0 or higher in all Honors required courses.  Complete a minimum of 4 continuous long semesters with the Attebury Honors Program  Receive honors advising each fall and spring semester

AGRICULTURAL DEPARTMENT  Offers an Animal Science degree  Ability to become a paid scientist in the agricultural research department both during and after graduation  Very hands on learning  Required to work on the university’s ranch outside of class  Most agriculture majors are roommates to help build connections  Put into some basic agriculture classes right away also to build connections

EXTRA CURRICULARS At WTAMU one can become many things such as…  WTAMU Ambassador  Tour Guide  Residential Assistant  Beef Carcass Scientist (Major Specific) Participating in some of these can help earn money to go towards tuition

COST PER ACADEMIC YEAR  Tuition, Parking, and General Fees: $9,280  Room and Board: $5,160  Meal Plan: $1,589 Total: $16,029

COST PER SUMMER (OPTIONAL)  Tuition, Parking, and General Fees: $2,020  Room and Board: $1,050  Meal Plan: $1,030 Total: $4,100

SCHOLARSHIPS  A variety of scholarships are offered through WTAMU  Some are for out-of-state students with high ACT composites/class rankings  A large portion of scholarships are major specific  ie: Agriculture major with dairy science background

RESIDENCY HALLS  Free laundry  Fully equipped kitchen on each floor  Buff card needed for entrance  Air conditioning  Personal sink in each room  Able to loft bed  Ability to be Residential Assistant  Ability to live in dorms until 21 years of age
