Food European immigration brought the Chileans various styles of cooking heavily like Italian and German. Many Chilean recipes are accompanied by wine. Chilean cuisine stems forms mainly from traditional Spanish customs because of the old Spanish rule in Chile. There are distinctive differences in the cuisine of each region from each other. This is due to the climate differences in each region which changes what crops are grown.
