3  Mountains along the coast. There is also a fertile valley and it is located between the costal mountains and the Andes Mountains in the east.

4  The Pacific and Atlantic Ocean border Chile  There are many rivers in Chile, most start in the Andes River and flow to the Pacific Ocean  Some important rivers include Loa, Maule, Bio Bio, and Imperial

5  95% of people in Chile are white. Another 4% of the people are Mapuche. And the other 1% are part of other groups.

6  Some products of agriculture in Chile include grapes, apples, pears, wheat, corn, oats, peaches, beans, beef, poultry, and fish  Other products and industries include copper, iron and steel, wood and wood products, and textiles

7  Exports of Chile are copper, fruit, fish and fish products, and wine. The three countries they export the most to are China, United States, and Japan  Imports include petroleum and petroleum products, vehicles, natural gas, and electrical products. The three countries that import the most to Chile are United States, China, and Brazil

8  The type of government is republic.  Population around 16,601,700  They gained independence from Spain in 1810 on September 18  You can join the military from ages 18-45  Branches of the military include Army, Navy, and Air Force

9  In 1999 a severe drought reduced crop yields and caused hydroelectric shortfalls and electricity rationing.  Chile experienced negative economic growth for the first time in more than 15 years because of this

10  The official language is Spanish but some English is spoken.  Most of the population is white.  Many people believe in the Roman Catholic religion.

11  In South America bordering the Pacific Ocean  Natural disasters are earthquakes, active volcanoes, and tsunamis.  About twice as large as Montana.  Mountains bordering the ocean and the Andes in the East.
