This journey is no boat, bus, car, plane, bike etc ride. This journey is a journey to know God. We have broken that journey into 5 steps. 1. Beginning Steps are when you are just checking out God, but aren’t too interested in the whole thing. 2. Seeking Steps are when you decide - yeah, maybe I will check out God a bit more. 3. Turning Steps are when you make a decision to follow God. 4. Following Steps are when you actually start doing that - doing what God wants, not what you want. 5. Serving Steps are when you live your life as much as you can for Him, and for other people. Go to the box on the opposite page and match up the actions to the steps. Because you are here at Uth Group, all you guys have stepped out from the crowd and are at least at Step 1. You may not be too interested in God, but at least you get to hear about him. You may be a Step 2 - kinda interested. You may be at Step 3 - decided you want to be a Christian. You may be at Step 4 - trying to follow what God wants. Or you may be at Step 5 where you are really trying to live your whole life loving God and loving others. As leaders, we don’t care about where you are on the journey – but we do care about where you finish! There is nothing better than getting further on in your journey with God!
