History of Polish music The oldest Polish melody is „Bogurodzica” dated from 13th century. First known notable composer, however, Mikołaj z Radomia, lived in the 15th century.

The best known Polish composer Born in Żelazowa Wola. All compositions include the piano works. Chopin’s major piano works are: sonatas, mazurkas, waltzes, nocturnes, polonaises and etudes. Fryderyk Chopin
