Never could hold a love Chopin had many female admirers and had some short love affairs; the longest was about ten years, But could never hold on.

Traveling, Love affairs, or lack there of, fighting, unrest and many other things and feelings influenced Frederic Chopin to write beautiful music.

Frederic Chopin constructed and played songs on the Piano and Pretty much strictly the piano.

Chopin played a classical style. He had slow entrancing melodies, fast, furious riffs and any where in between!

Chopin was born and lived in the romantic era of time. (1820-1900 )

The Romantic era was a time of self expression, free attitudes and liberation.

The time period before the Romantic period had a differing philosophy: the philosophy of the enlightenment.

The philosophy of the enlightenment was focused on intellectual activities. This “ turned man into a soulless, thinking machine -- a robot”

The turn of this new Era put these soulless, purely intellectual ideals to the test.

Chopin used these new ideas as influences but still followed ideas of musical form.

Nocturnes quite often have a ternary form (A-B-A) He also formats songs as sonata’s, and many other forms.

Chopin lived a short life and died at the age of 39 from a tuberculosis relapse
