Understanding Discussion Place and Privilege

 Any unwanted sexual assault  Extends beyond rape or threats of violence  Survivors can define their experience  Does not as for proof or only accept a single narrative  Do not blame or focus on perpetrator

 Must be:  Mutual  Continuous  For every act  You can change your mind at any time  If should be up to the person initiating the activity to check-in and be aware of the other person When are times when consent cannot be given? - Any time there is force, manipulation, blackmail, pressure - Legally, you cannot give consent when you are intoxicated
