Introduction The appearance and use of ICT in education affect both teaching methods and teachers themselves. Computers, the Internet and educational technology used, transform the educational process and also affect lifelong learning.

Educational Technology New technologies exert more and more influence in the field of education. Their use is becoming increasingly common. Their use in the classroom varies. They offer new teaching tools for teachers.

Educational Technology They create an attractive learning environment. They transform education into a learning game and motivate children to become more creative and efficient. Through the use of new technologies, teachers: Acquire new knowledge Share ideas and teaching scenarios Create attractive learning environments They become more creative They lead the children in the discovery of knowledge.

Lifelong Learning The Lifelong Learning (knowledge acquisition from the moment of human birth and throughout his lifetime) "includes any formal, non-formal or informal learning activity which has a specific purpose, carried out on a continuous basis and its main aim is improving knowledge, skills and competences' There is increasing reports of its value and its role in contemporary societies.

Lifelong Learning for Teachers in Educational Technology There are problems concerning: technological equipment and in educational training, resulting in problematic adoption of new technologies in educational process. The use of new technologies by teachers requires: their ability to plan appropriate instructional activities guiding learners on the correct use of new technologies.

Lifelong Learning for Teachers in Educational Technology In Greece it was decided the training of all teachers in ICT tools. The Ministry of Education commissioned the Pedagogical Institute as the official body of training, organization and conduct of appropriate Lifelong Learning programs.

Lifelong Learning for Teachers in Educational Technology The purpose of the program is the training of teachers at all educational levels in Education Technology tools. This training focuses on two axes: the acquisition of basic ICT skills (e-literacy) the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the learning process Project website:
