How to access the Acceller Wiki site In your browser type the following URL portfolio.wikispaces.com/Welcome+to+Acceller portfolio.wikispaces.com/Welcome+to+Acceller This will take you to the Welcome screen As an employee you have been given access to this internal company website.

Navigating the Site On every page there will be a navigation pane on the right hand side with links to all available pages You will be able to edit all pages, but remember that as soon as you hit the save button your additions will be public

Add Your Information to the Employee Profile Page To add your information to the employee profile page first click the edit button in the upper right hand corner Then Highlight the spreadsheet and click the spreadsheet options box

Add Your Information to the Employee Profile Page Then click on “Row” button and select “add row below” This will add a blank row to the spreadsheet where you can then enter your information. Just click in the first cell and begin typing. When you are done, click the save button in the upper right hand corner. Add your information to the grid now

Editing Existing Information To edit existing information on a page go to the page you want to edit Once there click on the “Edit” button in the upper right hand corner

Editing Existing Information Once you have clicked “Edit” your screen will look similar to this: Similar to a word processing program you can format the text in several basic ways. When you are finished editing the text click “Save”

Participating in Discussions Most pages have the ability to start or participate in a discussion regarding the content on that page Using the “How to Use This Wiki” page click on the discussion icon in the upper right hand corner You will then be taken to the discussion page which looks like this:

Participating in Discussions Click on the “New Post” button This will generate a pop-up window where you can give a subject to your post and write your comment or question. When you are finished click “Post”

Embedding a YouTube Video This example is for a YouTube video but it can be adapted for use with any type of media that can be embedded into a webpage Go to the “Fun Stuff” page and click the “Edit” button in the upper right hand corner. In the edit menu bar select the Widget option

Embedding a YouTube Video When you click on the widget button you will get a pop-up window that looks like this: You can see that there are many different kinds of widgets that you can embed into the wiki page. For this example select “Video” then “YouTube”

Embedding a YouTube Video Once YouTube is selected you will receive a screen that looks like: In another browser window go to and find a video you would like to sharewww.youtube.com

Embedding a YouTube Video Once you have selected the video you would like to share click on the “Share” button beneath the video player Then Click on the “Embed” button and copy the supplied text

Embedding a YouTube Video Take the text that you copied from YouTube and return to the browser window with the Wiki page. Paste the text into the text field and click save Then click save again in the upper right hand corner of the page and you have finished embedding the video
