UDL for Students with Reading Disabilities including blind and dyslexic Why UDL? Presenting information through sound is one way to provide alternatives to visual information. However, developing strong listening skills is no easy task! Educators can explore this website for specific activities as well as resources and information on how to develop the powerful learning skill of listening.

Classroom teaching tool It has a classroom teaching tool that teaches listening with a variety of downloadable lesson plans, strategies, and activities and case stories. Teaching tools includes- lesson plans using poetry, music and stories, interactive activities in the listening lab, strategies such as POWER Listening and case stories of teachers meeting the diverse needs of their students.

Details about the teaching tools Lesson Plans are available in a variety of subjects Lesson Plans on Special Topics with a theme for each month. Special section with resources for soccer and the world cup Strategies and activities has a listening lab with new interactive listening activities Case studies on ways to handle a situation or solve a dilemma that outlines the dilemma and a solution

How this resource can be used effectively in my classroom I would use this resource as a way to assist students with reading difficulties or students that were blind or dyslexic. I would also use this as resources for lesson planning and to get some helpful tips on handling situations and dilemmas, strategies and activities to use on a regular basis.
