5 SDO Updates HL7: DAF FHIR IG DAF FHIR IG 1.1 Update A majority of the updates to the DAF FHIR IG 1.1 will be completed by March 27 (freeze for FHIR Connectathon) InM WG Meeting Met with InM WG on March 14 in relation to coordination of changes to DAF FHIR IG 1.1 Successful vote (4-0-0) for DAF Tracker 9559 passed in InM and will be posted the GForge tracker: =9559&start= =9559&start=4175 Meeting details can be accessed here: FHIR Connectathon DAF working towards developing a track at the May FHIR Connectathon; proposal has been submitted.

6 SDO Updates IHE: DAF Document IG Ongoing Collaboration with the Sequoia Project’s Carequality Query-Based Document Exchange Implementation Guide with the Query Workgroup Continuing alignment discussions to addressed differences between DAF IG and Care Equality IG; Query Stacks, Error Flows, Details in terms of transactions, Policy vs Technical Anticipating Change Proposals (CP) for additional long term alignment with Carequality IG Additional information can be found Sequoia Project: Query Workgroup: involved/query-workgroup/ involved/query-workgroup/

7 Current DAF Phase 3 Pilots REACHnet: REACHnet will present their pilot project on the next All Hands Community call on April 6 th Lincoln Peak (developers of the PopMedNet Software) The DAF team are still in undergoing discussions with these potential pilot sites: pSCANNER CDRN DataGlider/National Health Data Systems, Inc. Phase 3-Data Access for Research Pilot Update

8 Technical Workgroup (TWG 1) C1 Launched on Wednesday, March 16 th to help coordinate pilot projects that are working on the C1 capabilities. Reviewed the functional requirements for C1 and made several revisions, which have been updated and posted to the DAF wikipage.DAF wikipage Technical Workgroup (TWG 2) C2-C4 Lincoln Peak is helping compile a draft list of DataMart Metadata from all the pilot sites. The document has been updated to reflect the proposed FHIR Resource structure and has been circulated to the TWG members for feedback to be reviewed during the next TWG call. 14 SDO Updates DAF Publications  DAF FHIR IG DSTU (HL7) On September 23, 2015, Health Level Seven® International (HL7®) published Release 2 of the HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) Draft Standard for Trial Use (DSTU). Additionally, we are pleased to announce that the DAF FHIR Implementation Guide, a US-realm specific implementation guide, has also been published!! The DAF FHIR IG identifies and recommends standards for the interoperable representation and transmission of data using the notion of a Query Stack which modularizes the various layers of the Data Access Framework.DAF FHIR Implementation Guide  DAF Document Metadata Based Access IG (IHE) On September 24, 2015, the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Patient Care Coordination (PCC) Technical Committee published The Data Access Framework (DAF) Document Metadata Based Access Implementation Guide. This US National Extension provides requirements and guidance on accessing clinical documents created during clinical workflows.
