Programme Development Funding 1.Additional investment of Lottery monies 2.Each LEP area 1 award made - GMCVO 3.Objectives  Increase awareness of ESF opportunities locally with BBO opt-in  Admin support to develop positive working relationships in each LEP area- that lead to good quality applications  Provide publically advertised contact for local organisations

Timescales Building Better Opportunities 1 1 st Tranche will open in June 2015 Stage 1 submission- end of July 2015 Stage 2 submission- January 2016 Grant awards- March nd Tranche will open in October 2015 Stage 1 submission- end of November 2015 Stage 2 submission- May 2016 Grant awards- July 2016 Development Funding between Stage 1 and 2

Greater Manchester LEP offer £7m ESF allocation for overall programme duration LEP priority: ‘an innovative programme for marginalised groups to help bring them to and support them to be more socially included, which may include targeting specific communities, groups or ethnic minorities with high level of poverty (pre support)’ Aligned with ESF Strategy and consultation
