 To improve the mental health and wellbeing of the population, including those recovering from a mental illness  To improve access to and the delivery of mental health services with better outcomes for individuals with a mental illness and their carers Aims

What have we said we will do?

Definition Mental illness refers to a wide range of conditions — disorders that affect mood, thinking and behaviour. Examples of mental illness include depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addictive behaviours. Mental Illness

"Mental health… is a state of well-being in which the individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community." Including people with a mental illness … Mental Health

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have. How is this your Business?
