From the WW Portal Place Enter my next to the word “portal” in the url While in myportal select Edit Page Layout

Edit Page Layout view. Select Manage This Page from the left navigation bar.

Manage This Page view. Select EWCD Copy Pages from the left navigation bar.

EWCD CopyPages. Select the World Wide Portal Place for the Source Copy All Subpages should be checked For the Unique Name Prefix follow the naming convention of the WW site. Select the Portal Place that you are copying pages too. Select Next

This is an example of how the page should look 1.Source Place is FoodComm_WW_Global 2.Copy All Subpages is checked 3.Unique name prefix follows the naming convention (Note: This will be added to the beginning of the page unique names along with an underscore in the Target Portal Place. 4.Target Portal Place is selected. 5.Select Next

VERIFY PAGES TO BE COPIED 1.Make sure Copy Portlet Data is checked 2.Select Copy

Moving to the new portal place 1.Click the Select a place link in the PSN and find the portal place that has been chosen as a target.

Welcome to your new site in a new portal place You will be taken to the site in your new portal place. 1.You will land on a page with no content. This page has been created between the homepage and the rest of the site. 2.Select Edit Page Layout Select Manage This Page

Moving pages Select the link under Title Select the Mark button Then select the previous link in the breadcrumb.

Moving pages, continued. Click the first Activate link to inactivate the blank page. Click the Move button. Select the Eye button to view the page.

Edit Page Unique Names Select the Edit Page Layout button Select Page Config (Site Hierarchy) from the Left Side Navigation.

Edit Page Unique Names, continued. Edit the Unique Names to follow the naming convention of the old portal place. Only the text WW should be different. In this instance WW is changed to LA. You will see the Unique Name Prefix that was entered during the Copy Pages portion (see slide 6) at the beginning of each Unique Page Name. In this instance we change the first Unique Page Name from : FoodComm_LA_FoodComm_WW_Global_PPE_Home To: FoodComm_LA_Global_PPE_Home Removing the FoodComm_WW_ from the middle of the Unique Page Name. This is done for every Unique Page Name. Follow the naming convention to make translating Link Assets easier. Click the Save button Click the Done button

Link Asset Translation Select the Create Translation button Edit the name of the asset following the naming convention of that Content Server Site. Enter the correct Admin Place Name and Admin Page Name based on your new portal place and new unique page names. If you followed the naming convention for the Page Unique Names then you should only have to edit the WW sections of the Admin Place Name and the Admin Page Name. Select the Location Relevancy and the Regional Fallback Language Code for the portal place. Then click the Save button.

Setting up PPMD Select the Edit Page Layout button Select Site Config (PPMD) from the Left Side Navigation.

Setting up PPMD The the Labelset Asset ID from the WW portal place to the Site Labelset field. Select the Big B Select the Division. Add the Regional Location and any other necessary location to the PPMD. The regions Fallback Language Code should appear as the first fallback for each country. Select the Save button. Select the Done button.

Still to do Set Pretty URL’s. Request a translation of the labelset from eBusinessServices. 1.Provide the Labelset ID 2.Provide the Language code for the new site. 3.Provide the new Portal Place Name. 4.Provide the new Unique Page Names for the links in the PSN. 5.Provide translations for the text in the PSN. 6.Provide a URL to the home page.
