What We Strive For... Our Vision is a community with a first class workforce which has the skills, education and adaptability needed to keep businesses competitive and profitable. It is our Mission to empower job seekers to meet the current and future workforce needs of businesses in the region.

The Basics… Located at 718 Main Street in the heart of downtown Red Bluff Staffed by 12 dedicated professionals On a typical day, providing services on site to: job seekers who walk through our doors CalWORKs clients in classes or training attending a Job Club or specialized workshop 5-10 meeting with staff to develop a training plan Active recruitment, screening and business contact with 20+ businesses daily Offsite, another 50 individuals are participating in vocational training, On-the-Job Training, Internships, or Subsidized Employment Programs

CalWORKs… Workforce Academy A two-week job club designed to assess career goals, instruct in job search skills, and oversee an active job search. Subsidized Employment Program (SEP) A 6 –12 month paid placement with a private business offering additional work experience and skill development. Washington Street Productions A 30-day work program supervised by JTC; designed to re-engage CalWORKs clients and improve their participation rate.

Shasta College EWD Contract for outreach to local manufacturing to assess interest in and provide information on new industry recognized training (Rockwell) launched in August 2015.

Championing College Attendance: Field Trips to Colleges; College Logo T-Shirts, Senior Send Off, 8th Grade Leadership Conference, Adopt-a-College Student Convening Stakeholders: Special Summits addressing issues affecting youth: Poverty, Foster Care, Career Technical Education, trends in education, new programs and grants, regional statistics, adult education, youth leadership, etc…
