Firing on Fort Sumter  This event occurred in the year of  This happened in Fort Sumter, lying in the harbor off the city of Charleston, South Carolina.  The Confederacy won the battle, because the Union was not armed with weapons.

Battle of Antietam  The Battle of Antietam occurred in  This event happened in Sharpsburg, Maryland.  The Confederacy won this battle. This is also known as bloodiest-single day battle of the war.

Battle of Gettysburg  Battle of Gettysburg happened in the year of  This event happened in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.  The Union Won. Was one of the turning points..
