 Each participating teacher designs, adapts and uses lessons which address the students’ needs to develop information literacy and problem solving skills as tools for lifelong learning. –PT’s select an example of information literacy instruction to demonstrate their knowledge of skills to meet standard 16(d).

Super 3 Plan  #1 – Plan super-3/ super-3/  What am I supposed to do?  What will the result look like if I do a really good job?  What do I need to make to show what I learned?  What do I need to find out about in order to do the job?

Super 3 Do  #2 - Do  How can I do the job?  What can I use to find what I need?  Now I need to make something to show what I learned!

Super 3 Review  #3 - Review  Is my job done?  Did I do what I was supposed to do?  Do I feel OK about this?

 The Super 3  Answer these questions when your teacher gives you a job to do. It will make your work easier!  #1 - Plan  What am I supposed to do?  What will the result look like if I do a really good job?  What do I need to make to show what I learned?  What do I need to find out about in order to do the job

American Library Association  Information Literacy Standards for Student Learning –In class assignment: look for ways to incorporate Information Literacy skills into a unit for next year. This can be an extension of something you did this year or now that you have a year under your belt something you want to try next year.--
