 Malls  Schools  Banks  Shipyards  Commercial Centers  Stores  Industrial Parks  Amusement Parks  Power Plants  Government Facilities

 Physical – Walls, Doors, Locks, Vaults  Technical – Cameras, Alarms  Personnel – Security Officers  Procedural – Policies, SOPs  Cyber – IT, Information

 Industry is regulated by DCJS  Rules, Registration, Insurance, etc  Minimum Training and Hiring Standards  Many officers have some combination of:  Prior military or police service  Post high school education

 160,000 kids miss school every day because of bullying  1 in 5 school students is bullied  1 in 3 victims tells their parents  1 in 10 HS students thought about suicide in the last 12 months  Someone under 25 takes their own life every 2 hours and 11 minutes  The Gateway: Verbal – Physical – Fatal

 81% of school shooter told someone about their plan  More than 50% of the time multiple people knew about the plan, often people saw the gun, maps, or other evidence  Why didn’t they TELL SOMEONE?  How many times do you see bullying, threats, drugs? What do you do about it?

 Have the courage to come forward  Telling a friend doesn’t cut it – Find at least one responsible adult that you can trust:  Parent, Teacher, Coach, Administrator, Pastor, Rabbi, boss at your job, Etc.  Security is everyone’s responsibility
