Scotland is a country which is part of the United Kingdom. It occupies the north of the island Great Britain and shares a border with England. It includes over 790 islands.

The national symbol of Scotland is a thistle But why is it that such proud people as Scotts have chosen a humble small plant as their national Symbol?

There is a legend… A party of Scott warriors were sleeping at night. A group of Vikings sailed. They secretly tried to attack and capture the Scotts. But one of the Vikings stepped on a thistle with his bare foot and shouted. In such a way a little flower saved Scotts!
