Harbor place on the coast where boats find shelter, protected from rough water by jetties.

Bay Part of a sea or lake that extends into the land

Cape A point or head of land projecting into a body of water.

Isthmus A narrow strip of land that connects to larger areas of land

Strait Narrow stretch of water that connects to larger bodies of water

Peninsula Area of land almost completely surrounded by water on 3 sides

Oasis A fertile spot in a desert where water is found.
