Technology Systems The most current operating system being used at Monsignor Edward Pace High School is Microsoft Windows Vista

Technology Systems The majority of the faculty laptops and all of the computers located in the computer labs currently have Windows Vista as the operating system There are a few teachers that have Microsoft Windows XP as their operating system A few teachers have either MAC PCs or MAC laptops

Technology Systems The major types of technologies used for administrative purposes include: 1.Administrative Plus (a student database and staff/faculty database program) 2.EDLINE 3.GradeQuick (students’ grades) 4.Microsoft Outlook 5.Microsoft Office 2003

Technology Resources The majority of these technology presentations and training sessions take place at Msgr. Pace High School It is given by various teachers who are experts in instructional technology A few of the technology workshops have been off campus either in South Florida or Central Florida

Technology Resources Since every teacher is given a laptop, every course at Msgr. Pace High School uses computer technology in some way Whether it’s using Microsoft “ TeacherTube” or “YouTube”, every teacher has the tools necessary to teach using computer technology

Technology Resources Also, some courses offer notes and assignments via CD Programs For instance, two of the courses I teach (Biology and Physics) have PowerPoint slides, worksheets, labs assignments, tests, and videos for each content

Technology Services The technology services available at the workplace includes: 1.Administrative Plus – school data base system 2.Wireless network 3.EDLINE 4.Microsoft Outlook 5.Sharp (printers) 6.Z-net (major computer issues)

Technology Services Most of these services are found online (i.e. Administrative Plus and EDLINE) Sometimes, the head technology specialist needs to call Sharp or Z-net if there is a malfunction in some of the computers, printers, or copiers
