Periodic Reporting to REA 2 Reporting periods:  01/01/2014 – 31/12/2014 (Period1 – 12 months)  01/01/2015 – 30/06/2016 (Period2 – 18 months)  01/07/2016 – 31/12/2017 (Period3 – 18 months) Periodic reports:  Technical report: Overview, publishable summary, achievements, milestones & deliverables, differences between plan and reality  Financial statements for all partners (FormC) including detailed explanation of the use of resources, Certificate of financial statement (not all partners) Deadline: 60 days after the end of the period UERRA Kick off meeting: 26th-27th March 2014

Eligible costs 3 The costs must be…  actual  incurred by the beneficiary  occur during the project period  must be supported by proper documentation  must be linked to the funded project  recorded in the accounts - separated  indicated in the budget, DoW  VAT, whether recoverable or not, is never eligible! Personnel costs – beneficary ensures that : 4  Staff has employment contracts and are on the payroll  Internal rules / legislation (salaries/social charges/working hours/ overtime etc)  Time records exist  No time is charged when the person is on leave or attending conferences unrelated to the project  Calculation of hourly rate, productive hours – reflecting reality  …..up to five years after the end of the project!! Certificate of financial statement - CFS 5 A CFS audit is mandatory for each cost claim which exceed € EU contribution (cumulative) In UERRA relevant for: SMHI, KNMI, MF, DWD The aim is to provide evidence that the cost claim (financial statement) respect the FP7 rules Public bodies may get a CFS from a competent, independent officer (or contract an auditor) UERRA Kick off meeting: 26th-27th March 2014
