The one condition for the winners of “Gdynia’s Business Plan” is conducting future business activities within the area of Gdynia (or moving there their current business). The winners receive kind of a “ticket” for starting own business, as winning one of the first three places or even the fact of being qualified to the final of the Competition constitutes an excellent recommendation for the participants as well as their business ideas. Idea of the competition comes down to enabling implementation of business ideas by the people who either have no experience at all in this field or have little or not very successful experiences. The key to achieve success on the market is to have a good, based on tested solutions, business plan!

Coastal climate creates favourable conditions for discussions about development Gdynia is one of the symbols of Polish economy. Its foundation was an example of visionary imagination and strategic approach towards development. Today Gdynia is still the window onto the world. International Economic Forum organized in our city is an excellent example of this as well as an opportunity for people from the area of business and science from the entire region of the Baltic Sea to meet and discuss various issues.

Main task of the project is to combat unemployment. Unlike previously implemented projects this initiative does not focus on improving qualifications, but on integrating the labour market of South Baltic, on promoting labour force mobility. Another important aspect of the project is increase in attractiveness of ports in South Baltic region, promotion of the concept of smart - the so called "Thinking cities". Objectives of the project are to: integrate local and regional labour market participants, develop information about job offers, prepare programmes and concepts of integration processes of labour market and increase its accessibility.
