Overview Online Forms and Internet Policy Security Things to Remember Contact Information

System Access Form, SAF –Complete for all new employees or employee moves/changes –Used to request network access, Lawson and Skyward Software Installation Request Form, SIRF –Used to request software installations –Must provide associated license agreement How to Access Forms –Forms are available online on the principals page of our Website –SAF and SIRF requests must be approved via by supervisor or principal in order for the help desk to receive a notification Internet Acceptable Use Policy, IAUP –Needs to be signed and returned by all students Technology Forms and Policy

Security Network Closets –Should be locked at all times –Hardware requires proper cooling Login Credentials –Never share user name or password –Lock or log off of workstations when complete –Student passwords were reset this year to school16 –Staff passwords must be at least 6 characters long and reset every 120 days –Never send your network password via –Delete from unknown senders –Help desk will never ask for your network password

Things to Remember Printers –Ensure teachers are properly associated with your school location otherwise an SAF will be needed –Please ensure printers are not moved to a different classroom or location without contacting the help desk Wireless –We have expanded the Guest Wireless access in our buildings –Please instruct users with personal or non PPSD devices to connect to the PPSD-Guest Network –The Help Desk will be ing the guest login to all principals Notify the Help Desk –Donations inquiries –Broken equipment that needs to be removed from your building Reminders –Remind users to save to their H drive rather than their desktops –Principals should only have one machine - not a laptop and a desktop –Brand new equipment - will receive an from help, please respond to that with the deployment plan –Desktops and Laptops should be turned on every 90 days at a minimum –No IT assets should be moved from one location to another without prior approval (includes room to room and building to building)
