Presentation transcript:

Mid-autumn Festival Many people in Asia celebrate the night of the Moon Festival. We Chinese people call it Mid-autumn Festival. Tomorrow will be Mid-autumn Festival in China. We will have a three-day holiday. I’m sure it will be a special holiday for many people.

On Mid-autumn Day people usually have a big dinner with their family. Children carry beautiful lanterns. The lanterns are in different shapes. Families give mooncakes for good luck. The mooncakes are small round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts, fruits or something else inside. They are also in different shapes.

I’m very happy now. I’m sure I will have a good time tomorrow. Tomorrow I will go back home early. I am going to have a big dinner with my family. At night my family will give mooncakes for good luck. After it my family will talk in the open air. We will watch the moon. We will have fun under the moon. We will be happy on Mid-autumn Festival. …….
