What do biopsychologists believe?

We are learning about... We are learning how to... We need to use... The structure and divisions of the nervous system. Analyse real- world situations in psychological terms Collaboration Making links

The nervous system is a network of specialised cells capable of transmitting information around the body. It co- ordinates the behaviour of the organism.

We divide the nervous system into a number of subdivisions. Each has its own function. They are organised hierarchically.

Deal out the cards. Your task is to arrive at an understanding of what the different divisions of the nervous system are, and how they are organised. No-one may write anything down, and no-one may show their cards to anyone else.
