ABSTRACT  In this mini-project we implement the Electronic Organ using Pic Microcontroller 18F452.for other hardware part we mainly used Switches and one Speaker.By programming different frequencies to each Switch.By pressing respective Switch corresponding musical tone. for e.g. Octaves are SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI SA.

MOTIVATION  This Mini-project gives Interaction between Electronics and Musical Field.  By producing different string of frequencies we can generate variety of sound.  For designing of musical toys it is useful.

INTRODUCTION  An electronic organ is an electronic keyboard instrument which was derived from the harmonium, pipe organ and theatre organ. Originally, it was designed to imitate the sound of pipe organs, theatre organs, band sounds, or orchestral soundselectronic keyboard harmoniumpipe organtheatre organ  It is a small scale application to produce octave nodes one after the other to create musical environment.

Harmonium  1) Harmonium:  The predecessor of the electronic organ was the harmonium, or reed organ, an instrument that was very popular in homes and small churches in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. reed organs generated sound by forcing air over a set of reeds by means of a bellows, usually operated by constantly pumping a set of pedals. While reed organs had limited tonal quality, they were small, inexpensive, self-powered, and self-contained. This concept was to play an important role in the development of the electric organ.harmoniumreed organ HISTORY

Pipeorgan  2) Pipe organ:  In the 1930s, several manufacturers developed electronic organs designed to imitate the function and sound of pipe organs. At the time, some manufacturers thought that emulation of the pipe organ was the most promising route to take in the development of an electronic organ. So the Various types of electronic organs have been brought to market over the years

APPLICATIONS Musical Toys

DEVELOPMENTAREA DEVELOPMENT AREA Electronic Organ this instrument can be used in small scale applications for generating musical sounds as our interest. It is very interesting application for small children. For future expansion in our project we can produce different group of strings set for song and play more songs in same device like Music player. We can also implement it for piano-playing robot.

CONCLUSION  Thus we have implemented a Electronic Organ using Pic Microcontroller to produce an octave. Modern Electronic musical Instrument can be used for creating rhythm.
