2 Introduction The FM transmitter has 3 stages, A (VFO) Variable frequency Oscillator (30 mw), a class C driver stage (150 mw) and a class C final power amplifier (1 Watt). Basically every FM Transmitter has to have a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). This is a high frequency oscillator whose output frequency changes based on the voltage applied at a particular control point. This is a variable frequency oscillator (VFO).

7 BATTERY An electrical battery is a combination of one or more electrochemical cells, used to convert stored chemical energy into electrical energy. The battery has become a common power source for many household, robotics and industrial applications. Larger batteries provide standby power for telephone exchanges or computer data centers

8 TRANSISTOR The BC547 transistor is an NPN Epitaxial Silicon Transistor. It is used in general-purpose switching and amplification BC847/BC547 series 45 V, 100 mA NPN general-purpose transistors. The transistor is a "CURRENT" operated device and that a large current (Ic) flows freely through the device between the collector and the emitter terminals.

9 BC548 The BC548transistor is an NPN Epitaxial Silicon Transistor.
The BC548transistor is a general-purpose transistor in small plastic packages. It is used in general-purpose switching and amplification BC848/BC548 series 45 V, 100 mA NPN general-purpose transistors. Whenever base is high, then current starts flowing through base and emitter and after that only current will pass from collector to emitter

12 Resistor Resistor is a two terminal passive electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. Resistors limits or regulate the flow of electrical current in an electronic circuit. Resistors are available in a range of different resistance values which are used as per the requirement.

13 Capacitor capacitor is a two terminal passive electrical component used to store the electrical energy electrostatically in an electrical field Capacitors are two types electrolytic and ceramic. Ceramic capacitors are unpolarized. These capacitors have negligible internal inductance or resistance. Electrolytic capacitors are polarized and if connected backwards are likely to explode.
