Congratulations to the outstanding member of the month, Marissa Delaney !! For the Greyhound Rescue Project idea!

 So I arrived at the car wash to pouring rain and dark skies. The weather man said it would be scattered all day so I decided to cancel. Who knew the skies would open up within the next few hours? Oh well.  The reschedule date for the Car Wash will be Saturday, November 22 nd.  It will be held at either the Tires Plus on Bee Ridge and McIntosh, or we will change it to a different gas station and will let everyone know next meeting. Everything will stay the same, shift times, items Brought, ect. We still need your pre-sale money and please tell The pre-sale buyers about the rescheduled car wash. Save the Date!

Thank you for all who came out to Sun n Fun for the Greyhound Rescue Project’s annual picnic! We helped raise $214 for the raffle prizes going towards the dogs. We also walked dogs, judged dog contests and helped out with whatever was needed. It was a good time and everyone was very appreciative for our volunteerism.

Sign-ups, Attendance  Ladies, if you sign up to attend a club project, please make sure you go. We expect everyone who signs up for an event to attend, we count on your help. Check with your parents too make sure you can attend before you put your name and shift time on the sign-up! If you put your name down, we expect to see you there!

For our December Project, we would like some ideas from our members. There is the Basket Brigade, Dec. 20 th at the Boys and Girls club, making baskets with food items for those in need. We attended this event last year. If you have any ideas or suggestions please come speak to the officers!
