GPA: Average 3.57 GRE: 308.3 Animal/Veterinary Experience: min 500 (but depends on school) applicant have on average 3500 Recommendation letter: At least 2 from veterinarians 1 academic Check out VMCAS website for info and application Most important: Your determination and drive will get you there

5 Becoming a Member Active Membership: Pay $15 in dues per semester or $20 for the year, by September 15th (Game Night) You will receive a club shirt with dues Attend 3 events (fundraisers do NOT count as events) Attend all speakers Attend 1 fundraiser 30 animal/vet related hours per semester Members active for a year will receive a graduation cord Events Membership: Pay $15 in dues per semester or $20 for the year, by September 15th (Game Night) You will receive a club shirt with dues Attend 3 events per semester Dues Member: Pay $15 in dues per semester or $20 for the year, by September 15th (Game Night)

7 Events Info 3 week reminder: reminding of attendance, drop deadline, and lead Week of event: from lead with all details Carpooling: Always at PS 3 (formerly PS6) Remember to bring gas $ Wear appropriate clothing PENALTIES YOU MUST GIVE 2 WEEKS NOTICE IN ORDER TO CANCEL FOR AN EVENT YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR CONSEQUENCES 1st penalty: You will have to make-up the event missed 2nd penalty: You will be considered an events member only, and will forfeit slots to all future events. APPROPRIATE ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN IF THESE RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED ALWAYS BE ON TIME, DO NOT CANCEL LAST MINUTE

11 Appropriate dress code for interviews or speakers is business wear.
Events ALWAYS wear club shirts ALWAYS wear pants: khakis or jeans (NEVER shorts, yoga pants, capris etc.) ALWAYS wear closed toed shoes: tennis or hiking shoes (no flats, toms, etc) Speakers ALWAYS slacks and a nice shirt NEVER jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirts Fundraisers ALWAYS wear club shirts Appropriate dress code for field work is comfortable shoes, pants, and polo shirt. Appropriate dress code for interviews or speakers is business wear. Not having appropriate attire will result in being asked to go home and change.
