At the Door Pick up an object from Mrs. Lyon From your folder, take out your cardboard with the white paint(gesso) on it Wait for instructions

Dividing Your Paper Divide your paper into at least 5 sections Pick either charcoal or chalk to draw with Example on the document camera

First section In the first section draw your object You can cut out areas of the cardboard later like we did on the hand drawings(something to think about for when we are done drawing)

2 nd Section Now alter your object in some way Draw what you see in the 2 nd section Remember: You will need to alter your object in 4 different ways, so take your time

3 rd Section Alter your object again in another way Draw what you see in the 3 rd section Hint: Change up the view point to make it more interesting We still have 2 more ways left

4 th Section Alter your object again in some way We have one more left after this Draw this in your 4 th section Try to focus on some detail of the object

5 th Section Last one! Alter your object in the final way Draw it in the 5 th section Now you can go back, add any detail, cut out cardboard add more shading, textures, patterns, something to pull the whole piece together the end of class We need to take a photo during class for self- portraits next week
