SCIENTIFIC METHOD: NOTES

 Scientific Method – series of steps followed to solve problems.

The Steps: 1.Ask a Question!  Observation - Obtaining information using the senses.

2. Form a Hypothesis!  Hypothesis – A possible explanation to a question (an educated guess).

3. Test the Hypothesis by Experimenting!  Data – Pieces of information gathered through experimentation.

4. Analyze the results!

5. Draw Conclusions!

Homework Create a way for you to remember the 5 steps of the scientific method. This can be using a picture, poem, song, acronym, etc…. BE CREATIVE!!!!!! What is an acronym? PEMDAS-Please Excuse my Dear Aunt Sally to remember order of operations.
