2. Scientific Method
* A series of steps used to solve scientific problems.

3. Constant
Factors in a controlled experiment that are kept the same.

4. Variable
Factors in a controlled experiment that change.

5. Model
A representation of an object or system.

6. Hypothesis
A possible explanation or answer to a question based on prior knowledge or known facts.

7. Observation
Collection of information using senses.

8. Data
Information gathered during an experiment.

9. Question
A scientific statement or problem used to focus the purpose of an experiment.

10. Theory
An explanation that combines all of the hypotheses and observations tested during the experimentation.

11. Evidence
Information or data that supports a conclusion

12. Physical Science
The study of matter and energy. Physical science includes the study of chemistry (What objects are made of) and objects (how objects move).
