Lexmark has comprehensive student program that encompasses three (3) types of hires: – Academic year part-time (AYPT) Students enrolled full time in a central Kentucky college or university who work part time at Lexmark –Co-ops Students enrolled in a structured academic/work program within their school. These students rotate each semester between school and work until they have completed their school’s co-op program requirements. They work full time during their work periods and do not work at all during the subsequent school semester. –Interns Students who work full time during one term and may or may not receive college credit. These positions are most commonly recruited for summer. Local students may be converted to AYPT status when school resumes. All of our programs provide real-world experience that lets you apply the knowledge you’ve gained in the classroom. All of our students are paid, and students traveling outside a 50-mile radius of Lexington are provided furnished housing. Full Time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an array of medical plans along with innovative programs that go beyond the status quo, such as offering employees up to three paid days off each year for volunteer service.
