Hello and welcome to your first lesson. In this lesson we will be talking about a balanced diet. We will be learning: What a balanced diet is The five food groups Food which are within these groups

What is a balanced diet? A balanced diet is a way of eating all of the right nutrients that your body needs in order to be healthy. There are five food groups which can help gain these nutrients.

What are the five food groups? The main five food groups are: Starch, fruit and vegetables, protein, diary and fat & sugar.
