What is a healthy balanced diet? 1. A healthy balanced diet contains the right amount of food from the main food groups. - We get energy from food we eat. TASK 1 1.In pairs, discuss what you ate for breakfast this morning……….. and decide whether you think it is healthy or not.
What makes a healthy balanced diet? -A healthy balanced diet consists of the right amounts of: 1.Carbohydrates 2.Fats 3.Proteins 4.Vitamins 5.Minerals 6.Fibre 7.Water
-Too much salt can cause heart disease. -Too much sugar can cause tooth decay. -Not enough fibre can cause constipation -Not enough Vitamin C can cause gum disease. -Not enough water can cause dehydration and make you feel tired and dizzy.
