Online Shopping vs Traditional Shopping

Statement of the Problem With a lot of people shifting their attention towards online shopping rather than choosing the traditional form of shopping, which of the following is better with respect to saving time, products availability and price ?

A Brief concept of both types of Shopping Online shopping or online retailing is a from of electronic commerce where by consumers directly buy goods or services from a seller over the Internet without an intermediary service. Traditional shopping is the way of buying goods from a store which has physical existence.

advantages of online shopping over traditional shopping Comparison of price of same product produced my different companies Better discount offers Maintains relationship with customer by sending mails containing recent offers. Easy refund Can be done anywhere with mobile , laptop etc.

Advantages of Traditional shopping over online shopping Consumer can test the product before use. The owner cannot lose money since there are no hackers and scammers in the real world. People without internet can visit stores for items. Easier to catch fraud merchants than scammers.

competition Anyone who wants to open a business should examine the competition before jumping into the process. With an online business, the amount of instant competition is much greater than with a retail storefront. When you want to open a retail storefront, you can easily survey an area and determine what other stores are selling the products you want to offer or choose to open in a location where those stores do no exist. Online, there are usually multiple businesses selling the product you offer and many of them are already established, making it difficult for a new start-up to break in and find success. If what you are offering is not unique, then a retail storefront will be more successful at trying to earn new customers than trying to break into an already saturated online market.

REsult As a result of comparison and analysis it is completely evident that online shopping is a better way to shop goods rather than choosing traditional form of shopping. Some online stores which are very effective these days are Flipkart,Myntar,ShopClues etc. Also there are traditional stores which are into the same business like Big Bazaar, Reliance etc.
