Felicia Green Just enjoying the life that God has given me that God has given me!

Hey Y’all Hello from the beautiful state of South Carolina, where I am a native of resident of Charleston. I am a single mother of two beautiful, bright, witty and very intelligent daughters ages 21 and 20. My oldest is a senior in college and my youngest is a Junior in college. They both attend South Carolina State University. I’ve taught pre-school for well over 15 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. What I love the most about teaching pre-school age children are their wild imaginations by the time they are done telling their stories we could be somewhere in a jungle or up a tree but I love it because their little minds are at work. Seeing how excited they get once they have learned all of the letter s in their name. I am interested in reading my latest venture is reading the bible from the beginning to the end.

Charleston County Public School. I went to St. Julian Mitchell Elementary, Rhett Middle School and Burke High School. All of these schools are public schools. The teachers impacted my life more than I could have ever imagine. During the time I was in school I often thought they were either hard on us or they were mean but as I matured I realized that they were preparing me for many of the opportunities I would be able to take. They showed that they genuinely cared about their students and their students well being. They were never in a rush to teach you what you needed to learn. They never made feel as though I would ever fail at anything I tried to do. There was one teacher who affected my life and that was because she followed me from elementary school until I went to middle school. She wasn’t my teacher any longer but she made certain I would stay on the right track.

 I have always been interested in working with children but I want to be able to extend myself. I want to be more than just an educator, I want to be able to help students outside of the school environment. I’m determine to be more than just an educator. My desire is to work with children and family, this the one reason I chose my specialization to be in Family and Society. This degree will allow me to also work in the social work department as well I am a very passionate person when it comes to children and trying to help them in any way possible under the law. Every child deserves to be properly educated, I want to be the one they come to who can help them with any issue they may be dealing with. Whether it’s personal, social, or education. Becoming a Guidance Counselor is my main focus.

My Master’s Degree It is my honest opinion that in today’s society having a Bachelors Degree is an awesome feeling but a masters degree can open up many doors and the pay isn’t bad either. I will be qualified to properly address the developmental needs of the students through a comprehensive school counseling program. This will allow me the opportunity to address their academic, personal, and social development of all students who m I may come in contact or have been assigned to help.
