2. Little About Me  Hi, my name is Andrea Ruffolo, I am 30 years old. I am full blooded Italian and I am from Chicago. Italian parents can be difficult at times but you learn to be strong, you learn how to have your own opinions and mind. Which is who made me who I am today.  I currently work full time as a bartender because I cannot find a teaching job. I am getting my degree in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. When I finish my degree I am hoping to be hired from the state to become an early childhood intervention therapist. I love working with children and I hope to help parents and caregivers also learn how to take care of a special needs child.

3. What I Love  I absolutely love to teach and learn about children and individuals. I was going to school at one point for law but I decided real fast that I was not cut out to lie to get someone off for something they actually did. I feel the only thing you really have in this world is your word and if you cannot keep your word or be in honest, what is the point? Who are you really? I decided to get my Bachelor’s Degree and I did that with Ashford as well.

4. My Future  In the future I hope to be a few things, one is a role model to my students the ones I have and the ones that I tutor. I hope to really reach a child and show them how to succeed even when all odds are against you. The reason I am getting my master’s degree is to be able to have more opportunities in my field along with other fields that have to do with working with children. I know I will never be a millionaire but knowing I helped a family or changed a child’s life is what I am looking for in life.

5.  Action research is to make decisions and focus on the improvement of educational practice. Limited generalizability practice research questions develops from practice. Theory plays secondary role and focuses on practical not statistical significance.
